Charuca is the universe of characters created by me, Charuca Vargas. Until 2004 I devoted myself to create characters for all types of projects, artistic and commercial. At the same time I was creating my own characters, which were in very limited editions. In 2009 I created my own brand, “Charuca.” which started out as a hobby but later grew to a much larger scale. Charuca is a trademark of beautiful things to make life a little happier. From our studio in Barcelona we are dedicated to developing our universe and extending our philosophy. Polynoid is the design / storytelling loving collaboration of Jan Bitzer, Ilija Brunck, Csaba Letay, Fabian Pross and Tom Weber. Founded in 2007 as a creative platform and playground for our own films and experiments, Polynoid today is using that same spirit but combining it with the resources of a production studio.
